Hello All,
We are not ones to ask for charity but life throws unexpected obstacles at you that you must deal with. Ever since our little Scarlett was born 9 months ago, she has had many medical problems and countless trip to the doctors and hospitals.
After many trips to different specialists and testing, Scarlett was diagnosed with a delayed brain which did not develop properly. She unfortuntally will always have a brain disability for her whole life.
If that wasn't enough to deal with she was diagnosed with a dual aortic arch which is constricting her trachea and esophagus. This condition causes her to have labored breathing and coughing attacks. Unfortunately, it will only get worse as she ages and could cause her to suffocate and choke.
Scarlett is scheduled to have heart surgery on Thursday February 18th at Children's Hospital of Orange County. Its a 2 to 3 hour surgery with a 3 to 5 day stay in the intensive care unit. The surgery will cut a portion of her heart away to help relieve the pressure. Hopefully this will cure her of her difficulties breathing and eating.
The surgery is estimated to cost $50,000 to $70,000 and we are required to pay 10% of that. So we are setting this Go Fund Me up to help pay her medical bills from these past 9 months as well as the surgery and future bills.
We are a one income family due to Scarletts medical issues needing constant attention and care from my wife Jessica and Grandma. We have had many bills to begin with and now we have all of these medical ones too.
No one plans for this situation but fortunately we are surrounded with loving friends and family who are always there for us and give as much support as they can.
We are so thankful for everyones contribution and every dollar counts. It would be such a load off of our shoulders if even some of her bills could get taken care of.
