Scarlette’s fight for life

hello guys, as some of you already know, our family has been toing through some very difficult times. Two weeks ago, our 22 years old pregnant cousin Scarlette Menard , who has been seeking refuge in the Dominican republic from gang violence in Port au Prince , suffered from a terrible hemorrhagic shock after delivering a stillborn baby , who apparently died for a couple days while in the womb which subsequently caused mom to suffer from a terrible infection as well. Now background on Scarlette, she is one of the sweetest, most caring mom who loves her daughter mor than anything in the world. Unfortunately she is not Dominican so therefore the public hospital wouldn't even accept her as a patient so she was rushed to a private hospital, where her care was delayed due to my cousin waiting for some funds to pay upfront before they would perform her much needed emergency c section. She was then taken the ICU, she suffered multi organ failure ended up needing to be intubated and on a ventilator. Scarlette's mom is her sole caregiver and she has depleted all of her funds for medical care , her mom is also caring for Scarlette's 2 year old daughter while she is fighting for her life. I hope everyone reading this find it in their heart to pray and to donate whatever they can to help bring Scarlette back home to her family especially her two year old daughter who is asking for her every day. The private hospital is money driven, they flat out tell our family that Scarlette wont receive the care they need if we don't make payments. The thought of losing our niece/cousin at such a young age due to lack of money to pay for medical care has been heartwrenching for us. It's been hard to write this especially knowing everyone is affected by inflation and other life troubles. Just remember no gift is too small and prayers and encouraging thoughts mean a LOT.
