We're on a mission to help 15yo Scarlett Slade represent Australia in Spain as part of the Australian Raptors Rugby Academy!

Scarlett started playing Rugby in 2019 for the Quirindi Lions, a small club in North West NSW. She now plays with a combined Quirindi/Scone team in the Northwest school's comp, Central North for both 7’s and XV’s and has been selected to represent NSW Country for the last two years.

This year she was Co-captain of both Central North XV’s and NSW Country.

Scarlett is a standout not only for her playing ability, but her attitude, hard work ethic and team dedication.

These qualities saw her selected to be a part of the Australian Raptors Rugby Academy; a relatively new Academy that looks at developing young players and coaches and introducing them to the World Stage.

Leading up to the tour Scarlett will be required to travel to Sydney weekly from rural NSW to train with the Academy. The team depart in December for a 10-day schedule of competition and touring.

Scarlett has a huge future in women's sport and funds raised will go toward funding her training and trip of a lifetime.
