Scarlett Hospitalization
Donation protected
Our sweet 2-year-old Rottweiler, Scarlett, is currently hospitalized for severe pneumonia which she got from Kennel Cough after being boarded over the holidays. Scarlett’s pneumonia became severe quickly which had to be diagnosed at the emergency vet yesterday by x-rays and blood work. She is currently at the local emergency animal hospital on oxygen, IV antibiotics and steroids and breathing treatments. We do not have insurance on Scarlett so in order for her to be treated everything has to come out of pocket which adds up very quickly. As of right now, they have been unable to take her off the oxygen and she cannot be given oral meds until she will eat consistently which at this time she hasn’t done. We are hoping for a full recovery but that can only happen if she gets the medical treatment from the animal hospital that she needs. This is not great timing as we are due to have our first baby a month from now but she is our best girl and we love her so much and could not imagine life without her…if you could do anything to help us out in this difficult situation we would be forever grateful.
