Scarlett Skye Berdis made her way into this world on March 13th, 2021 at 24 weeks and 1 day old. She came out a little warrior princess ready to take on the world. She fought through so much, but on day 8 she developed an infection and was sadly unable to recover. She took her last breath on March 22nd, 2021 in the loving arms of her parents. Her ferocious spirit was so much like both her parents it took our breath away. 

Chris and Mykayla have been on and off work for the last 4 weeks, traveling down to Pittsburgh to be with their baby girl. They don't know what the medical bills are going to look like yet. Mykayla was in the hospital for a little over one week. Scarlett was in the NICU for nine days. As you can imagine a NICU stay will not be cheap.
