Help Us Give Scarlet the Life She Deserves

Scarlet wasn’t just a dog on the run. She was everyone’s dog. For over a week our entire community came together trying to bring her to safety. She was spotted near a school, on random blocks, and finally caught behind a church. Shared across what felt like every local Facebook group.

It became painfully clear she had been dumped. She was covered in fleas and ticks, extremely skinny, and clearly malnourished. Nobody ever came forward. And she never left the neighborhood. She was waiting for someone to notice her.

After many attempts our friend finally caught her. She was scared and limping but finally safe. We welcomed her into our home and she’s already made herself part of the family.

But safety was just the beginning. Scarlet still needs to be spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Her back leg is also causing her pain and we need to get it properly checked out and treated. The costs are already adding up and we want to make sure she gets everything she needs to start this new chapter healthy and strong.
