Life After Corporate — Support My Studies Abroad
Donation protected
After eight years in a corporate setting, I've decided to take a leap of faith to pursue higher education and a new career path.
I have been accepted to SOAS University of London for a MA in Religion, Politics, and Society. My program starts this coming September.
I have saved 20k on my own, and have covered visa and healthcare surcharge costs but I had to take out federal loans to cover tuition and housing accommodations.
I have an expense breakdown listed below:
CAS - $4,000
VISA - $700
(Mandatory) Healthcare - $1,050
Housing Accommodation - $20,000
Tuition - $33,788.91
After graduation, I aspire to work as a professor or in other teaching positions to rebuild a sense of stability for myself. At the same time, I will continue pursuing my passion projects and artistic creation. I hope to use my education to spark conversations and movements that progress us towards a better future.
