At the beginning of April, I moved into what I thought was my new home. I paid someone, who I thought was a dear close friend, over $1,500 to move into a townhome that she claimed to be the leaseholder for. She gave me a fake name, fake receipts, and told me my rent was paid until August. She even claimed that she had paid a month for me early, so I now owed her another $500. I have lived here for almost a month now and received a call from the actual leaseholder that she was so, so sorry, but I couldn't live there because she needed her apartment back. I moved everything I own here, and now I have to move out in two weeks because the girl who claimed to be the leaseholder scammed me out of all my money under the guise of "helping me out of homelessness."

I have no money left to get a new home. I have no money to even get a storage unit. So I am humbly asking for help. I'm a disabled single mother of 3 boys, and my children are going to be devastated. I am praying that by a miracle, I will be able to raise the money to find another home quickly. Even if you can't give, please share so I can get closer to having the money I need to get a home for me and my kids. I trusted her with my life and never saw this coming. Please help if you can.
