Scallop's Transitional PU Surgery!
Hi Everyone this is Jacquelyn, aka Jackie
I've been the care taker for this beautiful boy Scallop since his previous & really still mom, Flynnie (Well call her co-mom), was in a traumatic accident in 2020. Scallop here has a history of getting urinary blocks, which can keep re-occuring in male cats even when they are on prescription diet and are more likely to happen in certain cat breeds, such as siamese kitties like Scallop.
Since Scallop has blocked for a 3rd time his doctors are recommending a PU surgery. This surgery, in the most simplest of terms, will help make the hole he utinates out of bigger. (Basically taking his boy bits and making them as wide as a girl's).
With his recent ER visit and upcoming visit to UC-Davis for the surgery the cost of his veterinary care are becoming high.
Being a Registered Veterinary Technician myself, I under why the costs of veterinary medicine is high and appreciate all of the care and dedication everyone in the field does.
So by helping out Scallop you can help out the veterinary field too and even a dollar will help.
Thank you for your time. Scallop and I greatly appreciate it!
