Want to join us in making a difference? A team from Emmaus Mossley is raising money to support RSPB Dove Stone by climbing Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England, on Monday 21 September, and any donation will help to make a positive impact.

Emmaus Mossley has worked with RSPB Dove Stone a number of times to help improve the habitat around Dove Stone Nature Reserve for wildlife. Emmaus Mossley is raising funds to support the restoration of RSPB Dove Stone after a difficult period due to the wild fires that have devasted the area. The fires have reportedly scorched around 885 hectares of land, heavily impacting vulnerable peat habitats and ground-nesting wildlife during peak breeding season.

Emmaus Mossley is a charity that empowers people to overcome homelessness for good. We provide people with the foundation of a home and life-changing tailored support. We’re here for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We see the person and their strengths – and help them get their life back on track, based on the future they want to create. When people are ready, we support them to find, secure and move into their own permanent home.

The RSPB is a charity for the conservation of birds and nature. They bring people together who love birds and other wildlife, and who want to take action to restore the health and diversity of the natural world. The RSPB carry out conservation on a large scale, protect and restore habitats, and save species from extinction. We’re living in a nature and climate emergency, and the RSPB won’t stop whilst the threats persist.

If you would like to support our Scafell Pike solidarity fundraiser in support of the restoration efforts at RSPB Dove Stone, please donate what you can today.
