Gallagher Family House Fire

The Gallagher Family is safe after a fire consumed their home and all of their belongings. A smoke alarm woke Brian who found their front porch on fire and called for help. Sadly, their home and belongings could not be saved. Brian is grateful the rest of his family was not in the home at the time and did not have to bear witness to this devastating loss. So many are reaching out to offer clothing donations and necessities, yet sorting through and finding what is needed and wanted without a home to store belongings in may add to the heavy burden the Gallagher family is facing. With that in mind, the Monaghan and Monaco families asked for the Gallagher’s blessing to organize support from their amazing community, friends, and family.

Donations through this GoFundMe or via gift cards to stores and restaurants would be a great help. Gift cards can be dropped off or mailed to Hummingbird Jewelers in Rhinebeck marked Attn: The Gallagher Family.

The Gallagher’s have a blessing they shared years ago that resonated with me… “May we be ever mindful of needs of others.” It is clear they are surrounded by so many likeminded friends and family.

Brian and Candace are grateful for the response from Hillside Fire Dept, Rhinebeck Fire Dept, Roosevelt Fire District, Milan Volunteer Fire Dept, Red Hook Fire Company, Ulster Hose Co.#5, West Clinton Fire District, East Clinton Fire Company, NDP EMS, New York State Police and Central Hudson for their response and support and to the Tivoli Fire Department for covering the District while first responders got the fire extinguished.
