As some of you know, our good buddy and fellow studio owner Martina Strehlow has been tested as a possilble match and possible kidney donor for John Myers. Marti owns two studios in Wisconsin called Clay Corner Studio, and John and his wife Julya own studios in Maryland called the Amazing Art Studio. John's kidneys failed last November, for reasons that they will probably never know, and the only solution is a kidney transplant. It is absolutely AMAZING that Marti is a match, and even more AMAZING that she is ALWAYS doing things to help people in our industry. As with all things medical there are a lot of expenses involved, including travel to Maryland for testing and the actual surgery if the doctors determine the surgery is a go. John and Julya already have plenty on their plate and Marti doesn't want to burden them with more costs. This go fund me is intended to help defray some of the costs for Marti and show our support for her selfless act to help John and his family!
