We are excited to announce our third annual fundraiser to ensure unforgettable graduation and prom experiences to an extraordinary group of Poly students with disabilities— and we need your help. The last two years have been incredible, and this year your support is needed more than ever!
Prom and graduation are more than just events; they are rites of passage that celebrate years of hard work, perseverance, and our young people’s bright futures ahead. Unfortunately, for families that have a child with a disability, the costs associated with these events can be overwhelming. That’s where we come in – and where we need your generous support.
Through this private fundraiser, for the third year in a row, we will provide an opportunity for all Poly students with disabilities to participate in every activity that makes their senior year of high school so special and without the pressure of additional costs/expenses for their families. This year, we have received requests to help additional Poly seniors with disabilities that are not enrolled in our moderate to severe disabilities program, and we are determined to cover all costs for all students who need our help. This includes:
- Prom Send Off Party where families, friends, and staff will celebrate these exceptional young people and cheer them on as they walk down the red carpet to board their limo for Prom
- Prom at The Anaheim House of Blues, including transportation to and from in limo bus
- Graduation
- Grad Night at Universal Studios
- Professional photos
Your donations will pay for all expenses for Prom and Grad night as well as any additional expenses associated with making their senior year special for our students.
Through this private fundraiser, our goal is to provide memories that will last a lifetime for our students and their families, who often face extraordinary challenges in their everyday lives. Families who have a child with a disability are more than twice as likely to be living in poverty. We believe that every student deserves to experience the joy and excitement of graduation and their senior year, and we want to make sure that those with disabilities have the opportunity to do so in style without the pressure of the additional costs. We are so excited to come together to make their senior year one to remember for these incredible young adults. Thank you for your support!
