Help Fouad and his family from Gaza

Hello everyone, this is a fundraiser for someone close to me, here is his message.

I hope me message finds you well

I am Fouad, the founder of Gaza Goes Global company, I was working in the company since 2018, I was living in Gaza city and I was able to build a decent life and grow up with my professional career. I am writing this after much thoughts and hesitation but the urgency and need to save our lives and rebuild our lives is greater than my ability to hold on.

Before the war, i was living with my wife a comfortable life, my wife was pregnant in the 5th month and we were waiting this moment. The war came, months passed and my wife gave birth during the war, my son who we were waiting for years!

Since 7th October our lives turned upside down, as we were displaced from our house which we lived in just a 20 days before the war and it is destroyed from the first day. We left under bombardment and fire. We left our houses in the north without taking any thing and we didn’t have any place to go to.

Since that day we are just struggling to get some simple things to live. We evacuated more than 5 times from one place to another to survive.

My father Sameh, 62 years old, and his family of 17 people. After years of working to build a comfortable life and build a house, his house has been destroyed and everything has gone in seconds. He is suffering a hearing loss and problems as there is no medicine, and no hospitals to help him in his needs.

My brother Mohammed, 29 years old, was working in the company too. In the morning of 7th October Mohammed’s life turned upside down. It was his wedding day, so instead of waking up on happiness and new start, he woke up on bombing and devastation. Everything was ready that day, the house was decorated in a very beautiful way, the place of the wedding, every single detail which all take much time to prepare.

His wedding was in AlMathaf hotel which was one of the most beautiful hotels in Gaza but now it is completely destroyed and burned.

My brother Bassam, 35 years old, married and his house was damaged after years of paying to buy it. He lost his sources of livelihood as the occupation has destroyed the place of his work, Caterpillar company, as he has 3 children who lost their year of education.

We still had hope of coming back to Gaza because the place of our company was still there.

After months we saw some photos for the building that our company in , and it was burned, we still had a hope that we will be able to return and fix everything.

After 170 days of the genocide, we got a news that the building which our company in has been completely destroyed!

At that moment we lost our hope in everything, it is not just a company for us, it was a dream for years. It was one of the best technology companies in Gaza which was working in the field of various courses for children and youth. It was also a source of livelihood for more than 30 employees. The war came and demolished all our dreams that we built through this company.

We are here today to ask you for help with big hearts to support us in being safe with our families and rebuild our life, work and our future.

Any contributions, whatever how much, will be deeply appreciated and will go directly towards relieving the financial pressure on Fouad and Mohamed after their dreams, their homes, and the company that helped over 30 employees were demolished.
