My name is Allan and I am raising funds for someone much more deserving. Sonia is a co-worker. She is a kind, compassionate person who consistently goes out of her way to make others feel comfortable. Sonia is always willing to lend a hand and brings honesty and grace to everything she does. She genuinely makes people's lives better-not just through her work but simply by being who she is. She is the type of person who deserves our support.

I am reaching out on behalf of her with her knowledge. She is a colleague who I deeply respect, who is currently going through a difficult time. About two weeks ago, Sonia was driving home when her timing chain seized in the engine of her car. This lead to the rods being bent and the engine failing. The car is no longer operable and now her car requires an engine replacement. Her mechanic estimates the cost at $2500.00. Sonia related reluctantly that she does not have the funds set aside for this unexpected expense. In the meantime, she is relying on friends and family for rides to get her children to school and herself to work.
