Help save Annie's life
Donation protected
Annie has saved my life more than once. When I first rescued her off the streets of Toronto I was going through a pretty dark period of my life. I had moved to the opposite side of the the continent to start a new life back in Canada. My initial job that I got didn't work out, I was rocked by an unexpected breakup after 13 years, and I was starting treatment for my third battle against cancer. Annie was truly my lifeline. She knew when I
was having a particularly bad day and would always be there to comfort me.
was having a particularly bad day and would always be there to comfort me.
At my lowest point, when I considered ending it all, I stopped because I didn't want her to feel abandoned.
Six years ago, she was spayed by a veterinarian in Calgary. I always thought that the incision wasn't closed properly, as there was a bit of a bump in the stitches. As it turns out that area was weakened and a her abdominal wall has burst through the skin and fur of her stomach. I noticed when it started to bleed. I have to get her into surgery as soon as possible. I've only been back to work since December and still haven't caught up with utility bills. Please help cover Annie's surgery.
