D'Mauri Azriel is my sweet baby boy who, since birth, has had many health issues that have not yet been diagnosed. We have a long road ahead of us.

As a result, I can't return to work at the moment to care for him. Our precious D'Mauri has been battling feeding intolerance since he was a little over 1 year old, which has now led us to get an NG (Nasogastric) Tube; this tube carries food and medicine to the stomach through the nose. The NG Tube feeds him at a particular rate 24hrs/day. We have spent numerous hospital stays in the last couple of years for this same problem, trying to get some answers on the feeding intolerance, malnourishment, and failure to thrive. Within these 2 years, he has been diagnosed with Gastroesophageal reflux disease, Iron deficiency anemia, Oral aversion, Dysphagia, Chronic Pediatric feeding disorder, and Autism spectrum disorder. I'm a single mother of 2 autistic babies, but my son has more medical problems than my daughter. D'Mauri sees many doctors/specialists for many things (Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, Orthopedic, Allergy and Immunology, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and feeding therapy).

Now we are having to adjust to this new change with the NG tube that he will be going home on. He needs my care 24/7 right now, so I'm unable to go back to work until I can find or be able to work around his schedule of needs. It's heartbreaking to see him go from tolerating the little stuff he could to being placed on a feeding tube now until we can get answers. As difficult as it is for me to ask for help, I must for the sake of my daughter's life and to care for my 3-year-old son D'Mauri. With that said, I am stepping outside of my comfort zone to share my son's story and seek the help of my friends, family, and community to access the correct diagnosis and treatments that he may need. These funds will help with bills and medical equipment not covered by insurance. We are truly thankful for all of the thoughts and prayers that you all have been showering over him and our family during this great hardship we are enduring at this time. We realize that many of us are going through difficult times, and we appreciate any donations; none are too small. Father, I come before you with a heavy heart, seeking your healing touch for my precious son. You are the Great Physician, the source of all comfort and strength. I entrust my son into your loving hands, knowing that you are able to bring restoration and wholeness to his body. Surround him with your peace and presence and grant him relief from pain and suffering. Give me, his mother, the strength to trust in your perfect timing and plan. May your healing grace flow through him, bringing comfort and hope. Amen.
