Our sweet friend Michelle Chenier was recently diagnosed with hormone receptor-positive grade 3 breast cancer. She is scheduled for a mastectomy in June and once she is healed from the surgery, she will be able to start the reconstruction process. There are still a lot of unknowns with this aggressive cancer until after the mastectomy and the cancer is removed but luckily, it was found in the early stages. Michelle will need to take time off of work and the surgeries will not be fully covered by her insurance. The last thing that Michelle needs to worry about is how she will pay her medical bills, travel expenses to and from her appointments and paying her bills. My hope is that we can raise enough money for her to focus on healing and not financial stress.
