Help a Family Find a Home

Hello! I’m Timathy. My family and I have been homeless for nearly four years now, since we lost our home during a mass eviction, and the current housing crisis has rendered it all but impossible to find another place to rent. For a large portion of this time, we’ve been scraping by on weekly income and relying on state and local charities to help keep us sheltered, and we are presently in a homeless shelter program allowing us stay in hotels for the time being.

However, due to the nature of this program, moving us from city to city as their contracts expire, it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep a job down and save money. Coupled with the loss of my dad not even a year ago, I’ve decided it’s probably for the best to just try my luck at finding a cheap home to buy. If we can just get some help covering the down payment, we’ll be able to cover the mortgage and other payments ourselves. Any amount will help us greatly, and words cannot express how much we appreciate your help.
