In February 2026, we are taking a group of young people to Kenya to assit a local rescue centre in Loitokitok alongside the charity Naramat. Naramat’s mission is to support schools and rescue orphaned, widowed, and impoverished girls in Kenya.

This trip will offer a unique opportunity for the young people to engage with children at the school, exchange experiences, and explore ways they can work together to support one another in the future.

Whilst at the rescue centre in Loitokitok we will have 3 main missions. These are:

1. Support the vulnerable with homework, fun activities and general house maintenance tasks.

2. Installation of water drip lines to assist with the growing of crops in the garden. As these are the centres source of income.

3. Replant and landscape the garden to make it more sustainable and manageable.

The trip also offers a unique chance for cultural exchange. The youth we will be taking will have opportunities to learn about Kenyan culture, traditions, and social issues firsthand. Engaging with local communities will widen their understanding of global challenges that

they don’t experience in the UK.
