Hi, we are a group from NCS and the community action project we chose is to raise money and awareness for domestic violence. We recognise domestic violence is unfortunately still a very real and pressing issue within our community and is only getting worse with time especially during the pandemic and football events like the euros. As a team we plan to do a series of fundraising activities. We are doing two walks. One will be a 10 mile walk, on the walk we will all be wearing purple which is the colour for domestic violence awareness. The second walk will be a fancy dress walk. We are also holding a coffee morning, quiz night and a day of challenges like shaving peoples heads.
