Nick's Recovery

As many of you know, Nick was in a wreck on Thursday, 3/14/2024. He swerved to miss an on coming car and in turn ended up flipping his car. By the Grace of God, someone stopped to help him and called 911, while staying with him till the ambulance got there.

He was rushed to Baptist and it was concluded that he would need possibly surgery on his head, as he fractured his skull, along with surgery on his spine because his C6 and C7 had been fractured. Again, God showed up, and they ruled out needing surgery for his head, but still needed the spinal surgery. Friday, 3/15/2024, they went in and placed a rod in his neck to keep his spine stable. We are currently working on getting PT, to help with walking and regaining feeling in a few areas, as well as getting out of the ICU.

We have received so much love. Between the calls/texts, people bringing food/essentials and most importantly helping with our Hinson Quad crew. Currently Nick is facing a long road of recovery ahead and we are working with the Hospital on what is next. As stubborn as we both are, this event in life has made us realize that we do need a village and it's okay to ask for help, which is why this GoFundMe has been started.

Any and all contributions will be placed towards medical bills since surgeries, PT and hospital stays in general are not cheap. We appreciate all of the help and please continue to pray for Nick as he regains all of his strength because anyone who knows my Husband knows that he is on full speed and in Hulk mode at all times, so this is a new adjustment for our Family of six.
