My name is Mayumi and I am fundraising for my mother Sayuri Oba’s funeral services and medical expenses. 

She was the most wonderful woman that you could have ever met. She loved and cared for everyone she met and treated everyone like family. She was so selfless and beautiful. She passed away in her sleep on June 30th 2021 at 11:04pm. My mother suffered with lupus for 20+ years and later got cancer. The cancer eventually spread to her liver and she had tumors in her brain. She did not make it. But she ran the race and fought as hard as she could. 

She really was an amazing soul and the best mother anyone could have asked for. 

If you have the resources, please help my family to give her the proper funeral she deserves. Our hearts are heavy but we will never forget the wonderful times we had with her.
