Saylor O'Brien pro para-skiing expenses
Saylor at 4 years old, found freedom in the speed she could achieve on skis. Freedom with more meaning than usual, given her physical disabilities. And then that was all she cared about, wore ski goggles in the house and watched cartoons in ski boots.
At 8 she announced a desire to compete.
At twelve she began training out of the National Ability Center in Park City with their competition team; it wasn’t long before her sights set on international slopes.
In April of 2022 at 19, her performance at Nationals in Winter Park CO sealed the deal on a contract with the US Paralympic Ski Team.Professional and international level competition is expensive, she could use some community support!
Donations made here fund high performance and custom adaptive equipment, logistical expenses, and recovery.
All donations above over $25 will receive a free Saylor skiing sticker.
