Saying yes to support

Hello fellow humans!

You have either landed on this page because you chose to, were suggested to, or stumbled upon it. However, you got here, thank you for coming, and I hope you will stay to learn more.

This page exists to support specific and collective healing for Jenn Peterson. Two years ago, it was discovered Jenn had a brain tumor. Surgery, chemo and radiation treatment gave her the last 2 years to live her life. "There is so much gratitude for everyone and how you have shown up for my family and me over the last two years. The prayers, letters, love, and emotional and financial support are overwhelming in the best way possible. We are forever changed and feel we would not have made it this far without community. Thank you." -Jenn

After some time recovering from the initial tumor and treatment, Jenn discovered another tumor was rapidly growing. She received a 2nd craniotomy and tumor removal surgery in August 2022 and a 2nd round of daily chemo and proton therapy treatment in September 2022 for parts of the tumor that surgery could not remove. She is currently in Vancouver BC receiving hyperthermia treatments, October-November 2022, to supplement and increase the effectiveness of this last round of chemo and proton therapy.

The second surgery has been significantly more impactful than the first, and treatment options are different moving forward. With that, Jenn is looking at the current state as an opportunity to redo the handling of the whole process, asking for more support this time on multiple levels. The reality of needing more has pushed Jenn to put herself aside and allow her community to reach out for help beyond her inner circles.

Along with the importance of prayers, love, and emotional support, Jenn needs financial help. The treatment in Canada is all out of pocket, and the reality of not being able to work at capacity will exist for an unknown time. Financial support will help Jenn and those close to her continue to care for their needs as she establishes her new foundation and way of living and being. Jenn is not done here on earth and we (the collective community) are here to support that!

Jenn has a goal of $12,000…and we (anonymous friends) have a goal of $20,000.

If you feel called and can donate any money to this cause, the collective would be so grateful. IT ALL ADDS UP, and ANY AMOUNT one can contribute will be SIGNIFICANT towards the healing and momentum of this goal.

This is the hardest and most beautiful thing I can do right now. I am honored and terrified. Thank you for holding me to be vulnerable and the strongest and most present I have been in my life. I love you, and I thank you for taking the time to read this and ponder. -Jenn
