Community mourns beloved Sidney drive-thru queen

Hello,

I am a friend and coworker of Lincoln McLennan, who lost his mom, Gwen (Brown) McLennan on Friday, May 2nd 2025. Gwen was well known in the town of Sidney as she owned a sweet shop and then spent nearly 20 years working at Dairy Queen as the drive thru staff member. If you knew Gwen, worked with her or simply interacted with her through the drive thru window at Dairy Queen, you knew she was a dear sweet soul who "would do anything for anybody".

At this time of grief and transition funeral arrangements and a celebration of life (date to be announced) is being organized to remember the lady who touched so many lives in Sidney.
