My only brother, Jay Scott Dennis, passed away over Christmas 2025. Amid the sadness, like anyone who has lost a loved one, I have been going through a ton of paperwork the past week. Sadly, I've found that he had no life insurance to pay for funeral and burial services. (Money had been very tight in recent years.) I'm asking friends and family, folks from the old neighborhood in Medford, and anyone else who would like to donate, to help defray the costs. We have kept it low by going with cremation, and we will host a Celebration of Life later on.
