Hi my name is Tayla,

It was only 7 months ago that we had to do this for my dad, now my mum has gone to join him in the clouds

Yesterday, the 1st of June 2025 was my mum, Racquel’s 54th birthday, a day meant for celebrating, but instead ended in heartbreak, because it was also the day she took her last breath unexpectedly

My mum leaves behind 4 children and 8 soon to be 9 grandchildren, 1 of which she is now holding in the clouds

My mum started paying for funeral insurance after my dad had passed away because she didn’t want us to be stressed when her time came but unfortunately because it hasn’t been 12 months since she signed up, we cannot use it. We have no way of paying for yet another funeral so soon.

We didn’t think we would have to go through financial stress so soon but life throws things at us a lot and we have no choice but to catch them.
