Hello, we are Kelley and Hazel Cabrices, and we are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses for our beloved father, Poly Cabrices, who passed away today, August 18, 2025, after battling an illness.

Although we knew he wasn’t well, nothing truly prepares you for the loss of a loved one — emotionally or financially. Despite his illness, we were not in a position to cover the costs of final arrangements, and we’re now facing unexpected expenses as we try to give him the respectful farewell he deserves.

Poly was funny, outgoing, and full of personality. He had a way of lighting up a room and never missed a chance to pull a prank — especially during scary movies, where he’d time a scare perfectly just to make you jump. He was more than a dad — he was a friend, a joker, and the heart of our family.

We are hoping to raise $1,500 to cover the costs of a funeral viewing and cremation. These funds will go directly toward giving our dad a proper goodbye, surrounded by the people who loved him most.
