Our sweet Lucas fought leukemia, and although he was still in the middle of treatment he was conquering that challenge. Unfortunately, while his body was weakened from the fight he got the flu, RSV, and pneumonia and his organs could not recover.

While we all wish more than anything that Lucas was with us, in lieu of that we want to make sure we can properly say goodbye to him and allow the many people whose lives he touched in his 9 years to say goodbye too. That, along with how many of you have asked how you could support us, is why we created this gofundme. It will be used to cover the extensive costs of the funeral, resting place, and to help while Scott takes a short time off of work so we can focus our energy on making sure that Christopher has the supports he needs to get through losing his twin. We are so grateful for the support we have gotten in the past 7 months since Lucas got diagnosed and are thankful for any support you can give as we live through this nightmare of saying goodbye to our baby.
