Saying Goodbye to Linda Crowley
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Vanessa LaTorre, and I am Linda's eldest daughter. Linda has six children, the youngest being 14-year-old triplets. Unfortunately, our mother did not have life insurance or savings of any kind to assist in providing her with the send-off she deserves.
On Saturday, January 22, before her younger sister Brenda Evangelista's, Celebration of Life, my mother, Linda Crowley, suffered from a catastrophic left Thalamic Hemorrhage stroke (Cerebral Edema, Intracerebral Hemorrhage, and COVID). Doctors believe that the stroke occurred due to a series of events, including 1) Having COVID since Christmas; 2) Losing my Aunt Brenda (her only sister); 3) Extremely High Blood Pressure; 4) Stress causing the bleeding.
After nine long days of trying several medical procedures, doctors determined that all parts of her brain that made her the unique person she was, were no longer present. Due to this and her expressed wishes after the loss of her sister, Linda's children made the difficult decision to have her pass peacefully. Although our mother wished to have a chance to live through others with the gift of organ donation, she could only donate her kidneys due to being COVID positive.
If you could contribute anything to our cause, that would be wonderful, but if not, we are asking for you to please share to spread the word the way our mother spread her love and light.
