It is with a heavy heart, we must share the news of our father Martin Escalera Sr. has passed away the morning of September 11th. He suddenly fell ill early Sept. 9th and had been hospitalized until 2 days later on Friday morning when he passed away peacefully in his sleep. He was known throughout the Wenatchee Valley for his kind and friendly demeanor, as well as his impossibly generous nature to everyone he met, if you lived in Wenatchee for any amount of time you most liked met him or had a conversation with him a number of times. His death was a great shock as the space where our father, friend, and all around great man once occupied will be felt for years to come in the hearts of all those lives he touched.
