I was so excited to get the call to schedule my long awaited breast reduction surgery for January. Then I get the call from Kaiser to say the cost. With our insurance that we pay $1466 a freaking month, the cost with it being "medically necessary" is $4200 out of pocket :( That is the 30% we pay. This is so disappointing. Who has that kind of money laying around?!
I had quite a few friends reach out to me and say "why don't you do a go fund me??" I have to admit I hesitated. I just wasn't quite sure that it
was the right way to go, but here I go.
My surgery is on January 17,2019. My chest size is a 32H. (yes I said H) I hide it really well. I wear 2 bras and a very fitted tank at all times. As you can see in the picture I have really bad grooves in my shoulders. I never really thought there was any kind of option. I have had really
large breasts since grade school. It is fine when you are young, you
don't really think anything of it. But as you get older, they get heavier
and heavier. It affects your posture and your self esteem.
If you find that you would like to help towards my surgery I would
