Saya’s dreams

Hi, my name is Hikari and I am here to ask all my friends, family and strangers to help my little family give my mom her last few wishes.

A little more about us, my mother (Saya) and my father (Saka) immigrated from Japan in 1991 to Canada. Then I was born in Vancouver and raised on Vancouver Island. My mother not only raised me in a foreign country but she kept our family from falling apart by learning and adapting, most of all the huge language barrier she had to overcome. She is what has kept my family happy, loved and thriving.

But now she needs my dad and I the most. With a heavy heart we announce the devastating news that my mom has stage 4 gallbladder cancer. It has spread to her lungs now and is terminal. We do not know how long she has with us but we want to make every second count.

With your donations we would like to use it towards travel fees, treatment costs, future funeral costs and time to spend with each other and not worry about bills. Anything helps, and we as a family thank you for helping in anyway you can.

As the only daughter of one amazing mother I only ask for the help to make every second count with her. My only wish is to give her all the love and happiness she has given me this life time. Thank you ❤️
