The literacy rate remains stuck at 60%, with little improvement. SAYA school started in October 2008, with the goal of educating poverty-stricken children. The school started under the shade of a tree. With the help of donations, it has expanded to provide free education to over 820 kids with proper facilities and teaching staff.
