Hi all you beautiful humans. I'm so glad you're here! My name is Jules and you might know my most majestic sibling Sam Hastings/Samwise/Hasty/maybe a furby/dog of wisdom. They have been the most supportive friend in my life, and I've enjoyed watching them find ways to grow more into the awesome person y'all know. Sam is undergoing Top surgery right now as I'm typing this. If you know Sam, you know this is a hugely gender-affirming and exciting step. I am so excited for them to feel more at home in their body, not have to bind their chest with painful, irritating tapes, spend unnecessary hours making sure clothes fall right, and really love the skin they are in.

This is effectively a double mastectomy, which comes with extensive recovery (6 weeks of no heavy lifting or raising arms above the head) rendering them incapable of going to work for this time. Life in LA can be a bit expensive (understatement, I just saw the gas prices here HAHA OKAY CALIFORNIA) and Sam will be without their regular income for a substantial amount of time (even after the 6 weeks of strict recovery, it takes a couple of months to get back to full functioning). If you could contribute some funds to support them, it would mean so incredibly much to Sam and remove some of the stress surrounding this time.
