Help Alison & Ant say pants to poverty!
Do you, or does anyone you know, wear underwear? Do you wash and change your underwear frequently? Maybe you have more than one pair of pants in your underwear arsenal?
These might seem like ridiculous questions but thousands of people live in underwear poverty, without the hygiene or dignity most of us take for granted. Smalls for All is an amazing grassroots charity based in Scotland that provides underwear for people both in Britain and in Africa. Alison and Ant - both of whom have just turned 50 - are raising money for the charity by running the Saucony London 10K on July 13th 2025.
It would be great if you can say pants to poverty and make even the smallest donation here. Any donation will be enormously appreciated and will go directly to the charity.
Alternatively/additionally, you can send any *new, unworn* underpants/knickers and *new or nearly new* bras direct to the charity at Smalls for All®, Five Sisters Business Park, Westwood, West Calder EH55 8PN.
Charity info: Smalls for All collects new pants and new or gently worn bras for people in Africa and the UK who can't afford or can’t get any. Because dignity matters. Giving pants and bras may seem like a small thing, but it can make a life-changing difference. For example, each month many teenage girls miss school and women miss work because having no pants means they're forced to stay at home during their period.
