Say a prayer for Melody "Mel" Treece

Hello, my name is Steve Mott and Melody Treece is one of my oldest and dearest friends. My wife Brenda and I met Melody and her husband Jeff over two decades ago and have been made to feel like a part of their family over that time; so it is with a heavy heart that I share Melody is in the Neuro-Intensive Care Unit at CRMC Fresno.

Melody was working her shift as a Registered Nurse this week at Adventist Hanford Hospital when she suffered a spontaneous Subarachnoid Hemorrhage, one of the most life-threatening brain injuries one can suffer. Without rapid diagnosis and treatment, it can be fatal very quickly. Melody was flown by helicopter to CRMC Fresno and had rapid deterioration of her condition which required prompt intubation and surgery. Melody currently has a Ventriculostomy catheter still in her brain for pressure management and is suffering from continued cerebral vasospasms and requires ICU care and management. As you can imagine, even with insurance, the medical bills and co-pays are becoming insurmountable. Melody is the sole provider for her family and has left her husband Jeff and son Nathan worrying about things other than Melody's recovery.

Melody has served her local community for over 25 years as a Registered Nurse, and I’m asking that we can pay our gratitude back in prayers, and with any other help you can give. Melody's friends call her Mel, and I'm asking for a bit of help with Mel.
