A little over 1 month ago, after playing at Hunter-Gather for Sara Williams' "Going Away Party" on January 23, around 12:15am, Sidney put his horn in his car. In about 20 minutes time (the time it took for him to finish saying his goodbyes), his saxophone was stolen from his car.  It was a Selmer Super Action 80 Jubilee addition.  With it was a Theo Wanne Mouthpiece, a mic and reeds. 

Sidney says, "I was really fortunate and blessed to receive these tools of expression and worship.  I’m not exaggerating, but I spent less than $2100 for $7K or more worth of equipment."

In other words, over the years he has had it, he has spent around $2100 in additional items, maintenance, reeds, equipment and the like. To replace what was stolen, in today's market, costs around $7K.

Sidney goes on to say, "I really appreciate you reaching out, especially during my birthday week on Mardi Gras.  I won't take this help for granted and will work harder than ever to help and inspire others.  Words can’t express want will come forth of this.  Thank you so much."

Sidney is one of the good guys out there. He's a sweetheart of a cat and one of the most humble, giving and kindest human beings you will meet.
