Sawyer Needs A New Liver

--SAWYER NEEDS A LIVER--
I am organizing this fundraiser for my twin brother and his family. His son Sawyer is in need of a liver transplant and any funds raised will help offset some the costs incurred during this process as well as the lifelong medications that he will need to be on. Sawyer is the youngest of their seven children and along with his twin brother, Silas they will turn one on October 27th. Sawyer was was born with Alagille's Syndrome which is a rare genetic disorder that can affect multiple organs including the liver, heart, kidneys and the skeletal system. Sawyer has been followed closely since birth by a team of doctors in both Rochester and Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, over the recent months his liver function has rapidly deteriorated. Due to the decline in function Sawyer has been placed on the liver transplant list. While the entire family waits and hopes that a liver is found Sawyer has been in and out of the hospital in efforts to keep him as healthy as possible.
In addition to this page our family and friends have organized a benefit to show support and help raise funds for Sawyer's ongoing and anticipated medical expenses. The benefit will be held at the Angelica Grange in Angelica New York on November 9th and will include a basket raffle, 50/50 raffle and bake sale. Additional details to follow.
