Saving The Rez Dogs

Tax deductible
Help us as we gear up to move to safety as many dogs and puppies as we can in the coming weeks.

Keep this in mind. We are not a typical rescue operation.  We operate like a disaster relief organization.  We are moving to safety numbers like that.

The stray and unwanted dog population on Pine Ridge and Rosebud is staggering for sure. It is a disaster that has been a hundred years in the making. We are seeing a difference, but we have a ways to go.  Spay and neuter clinics will be happening this summer...and that is great for the owned animals whose families will bring them in...but the only way to get a handle on the future is to remove large numbers of puppies and dogs that no one owns...that no one will take to a clinic.

Over 1200 dogs and cats have been rescued since the first of the year.  All of these animals saw a Vet....all legally crossed state lines to new lives on a state-required Health Certificate.

Our small town Vets are extremely generous in the amount of time and care they give the Reservation dogs....almost always without appointments and many times after hours. Regular payments is all they ask.  And thanks to you we are able to do that.

All three of these clinics accept payments by phone and mail.
