I am the proud sister of a decorated United States Marine who has unfortunately been faced with serious medical issues. He is fighting a fairly large brain tumor and also needs to have surgery on both kidneys to remove over 7 stones. A few months ago my brother began having regular visits to the hospital, stays in ICU's and tests and procedures done. He was medevac'd from Japan to Hawaii for treatment a few weeks ago and is about to be faced with more surgery. We are extremely close and having him so sick, and so far away is killing me, His amazing wife and kids have shown him an incredible amount of love and support but the kids are in school and his family had to fly back to Japan for the kids to finish out their school year. I am asking for help to fly out there to be with my brother. 100% of the money raised will go towards my flight, hotel, food, and if there is anything left it will go towards making up for the loss of funds due to  taking an unpaid leave of absence from work.
My brother is not only my hero but an American hero. He has returned safely from two tours in Iraq and one in Afganistan but this is a war he never planned to fight. He has been my hero, my protector, and my friend since we were kids and I will do anything in the world for him. Please help me raise enough funds to be with my Superman during this horrific time for our family.
