Please help Shane fight and beat cancer!

Shane is 12. He loves playing soccer with his little sister, and when he grows up, he wants to be a police officer; he is most passionate about helping people and protecting them.

Shane was first diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma (cancer) when he was just 9 years old. He went through treatment at Georgetown Public Hospital and completed it, and for a while, his family believed the worst was over. But in 2025, the cancer came back. He's been in treatment ever since, and now he needs a bone marrow transplant to survive.

Heartbreakingly, bone marrow transplant is not currently possible in Guyana.

Through our global network of partnerships, we have secured treatment for Shane at the National Cancer Institute in Nagpur, India. This is his chance, but we need to get him there in the next 2 weeks.

What Shane wants most is simple: to finish treatment and get back to being a kid. He is tired of being in the hospital day in day out. He misses being at home with his family. He misses school and his friends. He misses what it feels like to just be a child.

I want to be upfront with you: We don't get grants, government funding, private donations from foundations or corporations; we rely on kindhearted donors like you to help us in our fight to save children like Shane. We don't have steady funding to draw from, for every child we help, we start fundraising from $0, on a case by case. We do this as volunteers. So, your donation does not go to overhead expenses for an organization. It goes directly to Shane's care.

$30,000 will cover:
  • Medical treatment in India
  • Flights for Shane and his mother
  • Housing, meals, and basic living expenses while he's in India

Shane has already fought this once and won. He shouldn't have to lose this battle and possibly his life now because the treatment he needs doesn't exist in his own country. If you're able to donate, please donate; any amount helps.

Please share his story, you'd be giving him a real chance of survival.

Thank you on behalf of Shane and his family.
