URGENT: Saving Marmaduke

Hello, my name is Marmaduke, I am a Great Dane. A long time ago I had someone who loved me and fed me. Then I was chained in a yard with no bed, no one fed me, I started to feel bad, I was hungry all the time and now I am really skinny and sad. I can’t see very well any more, and one of my legs just doesn’t seem to work right.

Every night I dream of being with someone who loves me again and nice soft bed to sleep in and food every day, what a marvelous life that would be!

Marmaduke, a one and a half year old male Great Dane, was found by a volunteer teacher in Honduras outside a small village. He was living outside, his owners had stopped feeding and caring for him so the volunteer took him in. 

He has eye infections in both eyes, a severe bacterial infection, he is underweight and he is missing several toes on one of his feet. In addition, one of his back legs is paralyzed from a rabies vaccination given improperly. 

We need to raise enough money to transport him to the US (Miami) so we can get him the medical attention he needs. We have a foster home lined up with medical experience. We need to get him here quickly as the volunteer is flying home and has no one to take care of him in Honduras.

All donations will go towards his flight home and any extra will be put towards his vet bills and any medication needed once he arrives to his new home.
