Saving Young Raven

I'm sure many of you have pets, especially dogs, this happens to be about my sweet baby Raven. On Sunday October 20 my sweet girl began acting strange, not eating at all. Which sometimes isn’t out of the ordinary for her. However, by day 3 of not eating and I mean even treats and foods I know she loves, we quickly became concerned. The following day my grandma took her to the vet and after a work up they diagnosed her with pancreatitis. Fortunately, this is something that could be reversed with some food changes and medication. As days went on Raven was back and forth, some days were good while others she took a nose dive and got worse. She eventually started to vomit and then had a strange seizure like episode. So back to the vet she went, only this time to find out some devastating news. Raven’s lab work was now twice as bad as the week prior, her liver enzymes were extremely elevated. They ended up diagnosing her with liver failure but with an unknown cause. My sweet, goofy, cuddly girl who’s not even 5 years old yet is on the verge of dying out of nowhere. The vet wants her to spend a week at K-State vet to find out why this is happening to hopefully get her on the fast track to healing. Unfortunately, it is over $4,200 just for diagnosing, this doesn’t even include treatment for which they said she may need a liver transplant depending on what they find. I know many of you would spend every dime you have on your beloved pets so I’m asking for help so I can help mine. Raven is so young and doesn’t deserve this, if you would like to show your support we would greatly appreciate it during these tough times.
