Hi, My name is Tracie Gonsolis.
DONATE- PRAY-SHARE- FUNDRAISE
Do I look sick? No? ….. Truth is, I am living with stage 4 cancer. But, I am an inspired fighter, with a lot to live for, and I can beat this with human kindness. I have outlasted this disease three times and …… “I’m going for 4”
Surviving Stage 4
Faced with this reality, I began researching cancer cures and found stage 4 survival stories. One in particular, Shannon Knight, Angels for Shannon, is a story which uncannily parallels mine. It is with the hope she inspires, that I’m reaching out to the GoFundMe community and YOU to support my quest so that I, like Shannon Knight, can live cancer free.
My doctors are encouraged, and believe, with the treatment I seek, the cancer will go into remission, giving me many more years to live. I know I can do with your help! I have tried various treatments, and I have been advised there are better options for me at this time; however, they are not available in the US. It takes billions of dollars to get cancer drugs approved by the FDA.
4 Reasons I Fight (Kids, Pets , Parents and Patients)
Who is Tracie? I am a single mom who takes pride in my ability to provide for the education, spiritual development and overall well-being of my children, Tiara 20, and Dominic 17 (and of course, my pets!) I look forward to seeing Dominic graduate, Tiara get married, and to helping my aging parents. I love to garden, hike and enjoy life. My friends say that I’m unusual in my ability to see opportunity in spite of the inconceivable hardships and trials I’ve endured during this life. As such, my journey puts me in a uniquely compassionate position to help others. Which is why I believe I’ve been faced with this challenge.
When my treatments are complete, I look forward to sharing hope and support others in their fight, just as Shannon Knight has done for me.
Treatment 4 Tracie ($35,000.00 and 35,000 prayers)
Time is of the essence. With this type of Stage 4 cancer, in the bones and lungs, the average person lives 18 months. Thankfully with new means to raise funds, just as Shannon did on GoFundMe, I have hope I can beat this. However, I need treatment very soon, or I may not survive.
With the collaborative effort of my friends and family, we have kicked-off the race to raise $35,000, and 35,000 prayers, so that I can travel to treatment. Every prayer counts and every dollar helps, even your $10.00 donation will make a big difference.
4 Things Your Heart Can Do to Help Me Survive a 4th Time:
Human kindness, compassion, love and support are what get us through the trials in life, knowing we are not alone, that people are there to offer support, and are willing to give in times of need.
1) Donate from your heart ~ Every dollar counts
2) Share my GoFund me on your Facebook page,
3) Ask your friends to do the same.
4) Send out a prayer for me
The hardest part of cancer is telling your children; although they are much stronger than we give them credit for. My daughter told me the other day “mama, don’t worry, everything is going to be okay, just focus on getting better” such wisdom and strength.
I was given this mountain to show others how to move it I continue to stand tall and accept the struggle is part of my story; the scars both emotional and physical have molded me into the person!
