Saving the Pup that saved Me
Donation protected
On Tuesday morning, July 16th, my father just got home from his night shift at the hospital to find our sweetheart Marie with a bit of an upset stomach. Throwing up all over the place, we thought the little gal had a stomach bug, and we believed that's where it would end at. Looking back I wish that was the end of it. By the same night she started to seem as if she was coming back into the same old pug as we know, but still a little lethargic. We decided to wait. Come time to the next night there was false sense of progression, instead regression with labored breathing and complete immobility or lack of energy.
All of us frightened, rushed her to Oradell Animal Hospital. There my family waited for hours but for me not being able to see my angel knowing she's in pain, it felt for all eternity. Eventually through a night of waiting and multiple tests being done we learned that her Kidney has an Infection. The doctors keep telling us it's called Urosepsis, that she's been in critical condition, but she has a fighting chance. If anyone were to ask me, I know my dog is as tough as they make pugs. Not because I'm afraid of losing her, which I am, I know she's a fighter. I know she can kick this infection's ass.

Though, the funds that would allow her to do so are pretty substantial, and my family isn't exactly the wealthiest around. Neither are many families and I get that. However, I'm putting this here because it's the best chance I got as far as help goes. I usually don't love the idea of asking for money, but I need whatever help I can get, she needs all the help possible. Anything we get will go towards treatment for her, and ensuring she will have a better life after it's all said and done.

Little bit about the Pup
First off, if ya haven't met her well you gotta make plans once she's back up and running. I mean literally running too, usually people believe pugs to be fat and lazy, but not this one. Well maybe she's a little pudgy, but when anyone that know's Marie, they don't think lazy! That's another quirk actually, she's sort of like a double spy. She's got two names where many know her as Marie, and some know her as Puddles. I know her as both because regardless, she's a Levendakes. This crazy hungry fool loves adventures too. The last thing she wants to do is be stuck laying down inside, and when I say last thing to do means after she gets back from a nice hike or fishing trip!

She's a little rascal with so many rolls you'd think you're in a bakery. Please help me get my baby back home so we can continue spoiling the brat that saved me from myself. She helped me have a second life and gave me reason to be happy again, gave me something to stick around for. I don't think I'd be around today if it weren't for her truly and now I never think like that thanks to her. Let me save the girl that saved me. Thank you.
