Hi, it's Eliza. You have probably seen me post a million photos of my precious kitty boy Slightly. He is normally a very happy and healthy kitty, living the good life of a handsome fluffy prince.

Last night we had a bad night. He had some kind of cyst on his chin and it burst and bled a lot. We couldn't get it to stop for a long time. It closed and then opened again 2 more times. He lost so much blood that I had to rush him to the emergency vet in the middle of the night.

They are taking great care of him. He perked up after getting some fluids and is getting a blood transfusion now. Once he is stable after that, more blood work needs to be done. We aren't sure yet why he bled so much and isn't clotting like normal. Related, we also need to figure out what to do about the cyst and what exactly it is.

The expense of this is adding up really fast and I am out of money. But I can't not do it, he is my baby! Thank goodness I just started working a 2nd job, but that isn't gonna add up to enough for awhile. My mom is letting me put some charges on her credit card.

So here we are. I don't expect most of my friends to have much money. But if you could spare just a little it would really help.
