Hi everyone, my name is Megan and i am setting up this gofundme for my nephews gorgeous dog, Shadow. Shadow belongs to Elliott, my autistic nephew. He has been very unwell and after multiple trips to the vets and paying for different treatments over 3 days he unfortunately took a turn for the worse and was rushed back early today. We were then told he required emergency surgery after x rays were taken to remove an obstruction in his intestines. Whilst being prepped for surgery Shadows heart stopped beating, he needed CPR and was luckily brought back to us. After all of this heartbreak for my sister and her family they were then told they had a total bill of £3500, which unfortunately nobody has. He is now in critical care and we are looking for any and all help we can find. So if anybody and everybody could please see how much this baby boy means to so many of us, we would greatly appreciate any help anybody could give. Elliott has always struggled connecting to people, wether that is friends at school or even his own parents, but he has such a deep emotional bond with his dog where Shadow has become a part of who Elliott is and how he communicates. Shadow is more than a dog and has become an important member of our family and we are doing everything in our power to make sure he comes home.
