As many of you already know we’ve been in a race from Alaska to southern BC trying to find answers and proper care for our beautiful Sequoia. I was going to let nature take its course until I got a second opinion. We’re about $2,500 in thus far and we’ll arrive at the specialist today which will more than likely double that cost, but we shall see. Anything helps at this point.
TEMP DIAGNOSIS: Sequoia has a severe regenerative anemia, that has not been diagnosed. In addition, she has an enlarged Liver, that has not been diagnosed. These are very serious findings that are going to require further testing to determine the cause. She may even require a transfusion as well.
TODAY: Sequoia is stable and fighting. She keeps looking at me mile after mile with this scared look I’ve never seen. I reassure her and she goes back to sleep.
